Anchor and pulpit of a pleasure boat

The pulpit of a ship is an extension of the deck at the bow . It usually looks like a board that protrudes over the actual bow. The pulpit is framed by a railing that usually merges seamlessly with the actual deck railing . So the pulpit can be entered safely. There is often a space for the spinnaker on the railing of the pulpit .
