The bull's head mace , engl. Bull-Head-Mace , is a weapon from Persia.

description

The bull's head mace has a metal, heavy, hollow hammer head that is shaped in the shape of a bull's head . Due to the hollow design of the head, there is a whistling sound when you strike with the mace. The shaft is usually round and made of metal. There are different versions that vary in length and design. Related to this mace is the devil's head mace .

The Iranian mythology after has Fereydun for battle with the tyrant Zahhak can forge a mace with a bull head.
