The Federal Association of Machine Entrepreneurs (BA) represents the interests of the operators of amusement machines and arcade operators at national and European level.
He is a member of the European umbrella association of the entertainment machine industry EUROMAT in Brussels and a founding member of the Federal Association of the Service Industry - BDWi. It is the umbrella organization of eleven regional machine associations in Germany as well as two professional associations with around 2,000 member companies. history
The association was founded in 1953. He concentrates his work on the permanent preservation, improvement and long-term security of the political and economic framework conditions for the entertainment machine installation industry through dialogue with politics and administration.
The BA maintains close contact with political institutions, committees and opinion leaders. He is included in the planning of legislative projects. In addition, the BA coordinates the activities of its member associations and supports their work in relation to politics, administration and the judiciary in the federal states, districts and municipalities.
Among other things, the BA is responsible for monitoring fair competition in the field of commercial money raffles, measures against illegal gambling, disputes with federal states and municipalities about entertainment taxes, helping to shape future-oriented framework conditions that preserve and promote livelihoods, and supervise machine-specific training professions and further training measures .
The BA sees itself as the point of contact for issues in the political arena as well as economic and legal issues relating to commercial slot machine games.
With an 8-point thesis paper "BA-Agenda Zukunft - We stand for Tomorrow!" The federal association positioned itself on the situation and future of the industry.
Bureau
The presidium consists of the first chairmen of its 11 regional associations and two professional associations and elects four of its members to the board.
