The Federal Association of Jewelry, Watches, Silverware and Allied Industries e. V. is a nationwide trade association for the jewelry and watch industry as well as a regional employers' association. As the latter, he negotiates the collective agreement for the jewelry, watch and precious metal industries with IG Metall .

history

BV Schmuck und Uhren was created on January 1st, 1999 from the merger of the two industry associations VDU and VDSI.

structure

The general assembly is the highest body of the BV Schmuck und Uhren. It elects a president, two vice-presidents and up to nine other board members from among its members.
