Federal Association of the Fruit, Vegetable and Potato Processing Industry
The Federal Association of the Fruit, Vegetable and Potato Processing Industry e. V. is an interest group of the food industry that is active at national and EU level. He takes positions on nutrition and agriculture . In addition, he deals with questions of consumer protection as well as with the protection of common interests against unfair competition . He also deals with energy policy and the approval of pesticides.
The association is divided into the specialist divisions for fruit processing , vegetable processing , potato processing and fine-sour vegetables. A technical committee deals with the subject of food law .
In addition to its headquarters in Bonn, the association also has a European office in Brussels. The friendly management team includes Christoph Freitag, Horst-Peter Karos and Werner Koch.
