The bbh Federal Association of Independent Accountants and Accountants e. V. (bbh) is the largest professional association for self-employed accountants and accountants in Germany. At national and international level, it represents the professional and economic interests of over 12,000 members.

tasks

The bbh Bundesverband has set itself the task of promoting the ideal, professional, economic and social interests of its members. The political representation of interests at national and international level is the first priority.

The bbh Bundesverband not only maintains contact with parliamentarians and committees, but is also involved in advice and decision-making in all questions relating to the profession of the self-employed accountant or accountant. This is done, for example, by giving opinions or attending and hearing at finance committee meetings.

The bbh Bundesverband sees a further field of activity in the education of the public, since the practical handling of the laws, such as z. B. of professional law, competition law or tax law, often causes problems. According to the motto "Help for self-help", the bbh Bundesverband tries to cover the need for information in every phase of commercial activity.

Members

Any natural person, partnership or legal entity can become a member of the bbh federal association if they support the purpose of the professional association. The number of members is currently around 12,000. The majority of the full association members are self-employed accountants or accountants who work either full-time or part-time.

Association publications

The bbh Federal Association regularly publishes the following association publications:

  • bbh manual (appears once a year)
  • bbh information letter (appears monthly)
