The ruins of the Gothic Kozí hrádek Castle (formerly Goat Castle ) are located about one and a half kilometers east of the town of Sezimovo Ústí in ( Czech Republic ).

The castle was built on a rocky promontory over the Kozský brook . The fortress was first mentioned in writing in 1307 . It became famous through the stay of the Bohemian preacher Jan Hus in the years 1412 to 1414. From the middle of the 15th century the castle fell into disrepair and probably burned down completely in 1438.

The castle walls were used as building material in the 17th to 19th centuries. The ruins were explored and restored in the 20th century. The walls of the residential palace can currently be viewed.
