The Gediminas Tower is the only surviving corner tower of the Vilnius Upper Castle complex , Lithuania .

The tower on the 142 m high Castle Hill is a landmark of Vilnius today. A history museum is located here, dedicated to the history of the Upper Castle, built in 1323 by Grand Duke Gediminas . Despite the arches of its windows, it is a Gothic building in Lithuania . The tower's observation deck offers a panoramic view of Vilnius. The Gedimino kalno inclined elevator went to the Gediminas Tower until 2016 .
