The castle on the Rummelsberg ( Polish Gromnik , German also: Romsberg ) was on the highest elevation in the Strehlener mountains . The castle remains have belonged to the village of Krzywina (German Krummendorf ) in the rural community of Przeworno ( Prieborn ) in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in Poland since 1945 . Remnants of ruins have been preserved from the castle. Historically, it belonged to the Duchy of Brieg .

The mountain was probably fortified in prehistoric times. In the Middle Ages, a castle owned by the von Czirn family is mentioned here in 1427 . In a document they declared that they intended to “build the mountain and to occupy it for a fixed purpose and for the benefit of the land”, but devoted you to robbery . Therefore the castle was destroyed in 1443 by the troops of the governor of Silesia Konrad von Oels , but was soon rebuilt. Ownership changed several times. The castle was in ruins as early as 1493. Today the remains of the wall and ditch can be seen in the area.
