The castle wall near Bärwalde , a district of the municipality of Niederer Fläming in the Teltow-Fläming district in Brandenburg , is the castle stables of a Slavic Niederungsburg , a Slavic castle wall .
The ground monument is a good kilometer south of the village in the forest. It is an oval ring wall that has been well preserved.
500 meters further northwest is a medieval castle ruin , which must also have had a Slavic predecessor. Ceramic shards from the 10th and 11th centuries were found there. Possibly this was the successor castle of the ring wall system.
