Burkhard on the Rhine
Burkhard zu Rhein (first mentioned 1388; † between 1432 and 1446) was a Swiss politician.
Burkhard zu Rhein (ze Rhin) was a knight in the Basel council from 1409 . Between 1413 and 1432 he held the title of mayor eight times in Basel. He repeatedly represented his hometown as envoy, for example at the Council of Constance .
