CCC certification for fire protection products
CCC certifications for fire protection products are certifications for certain fire protection products that are to be legally imported into the People's Republic of China . A China Compulsory Certification (CCC) is required for the certification process , without which business activities are not possible.
The China Certification Center for Fire Products (chin .: 公安部 消防 产品 合格 评定 中心), or CCCF for short , is responsible for certification and is subordinate to the Chinese Ministry of Public Safety. The CCCF is based in Beijing . In contrast to the China Quality Certification Center (CQC), which is responsible for the certification of almost all products subject to CCC certification, the CCCF deals exclusively with the approval of fire protection products.
Products
The products that require certification include the following products:
- Alarm products
- Fire hoses
- Sprinkler systems
- Components and equipment for fire engines
- Fire extinguisher
- Fire doors
- Fire hydrants
Certification process
After all application documents have been accepted, the CCCF determines in which accredited test laboratory the product tests must be carried out. The tests run strictly according to the national standards, the Chinese GB standards . There are around 300 of these standards for fire protection products, but new regulations are published regularly.
