CC 8800

The CC8800 is a lattice boom crane with crawler chassis and is produced by Tadano Demag . More than 20 cranes of this model are in use worldwide. The successor model CC8800-1 is currently the most powerful series-built crawler crane. The lattice boom reaches a height of 216 m. For transport, the crane is dismantled into individual parts and brought to the construction site with low loaders. The individual components weigh almost 40 t.

The first model, the CC8800-1 Twin , has a lifting capacity of up to 3200 tons and was completed in October 2007. In August 2009 the second CC8800-1 Twin was completed.
