CD Zapata
Club Deportivo Zapata , CD Zapata for short , is a Mexican football club from the municipality of Emiliano Zapata in the state of Morelos .
history
The club was a founding member of the Tercera División, which was introduced in 1967, and at the end of the opening season 1967/68 it went down as the first champion of the third-class league in its history.
From 1968 to 1970 the club played in the then second-rate Segunda División , but these were also the only years in the second division of Mexico in its more than forty-year history .
Today the club plays in regional group IV of the only fourth-class Tercera División.
