The Mercurius AG (formerly CFI Fairpay AG , personal letters CFI FAIRPAY ) is a financial services provider from Germany, based in Frankfurt am Main . Mercurius AG combines three areas: real estate , securities trading and the secondary market for life insurance .

history

In August 2004 CFI GmbH opened the new Alternative Markets division. Since August 2004, the securities trading bank CFI GmbH has been buying capital insurance policies from the German secondary market under the name CFI Fairplay . In December 2005 Mercurius AG (formerly: CFI Fairpay AG) split off from CFI GmbH and acted as an independent stock corporation.

Mercurius AG has been active in the German secondary market for capital insurance since mid-2005. It is one of the leading direct investors in this market. The faircash policy loan product has been available since July 2006 . In October 2006, Mercurius AG went public in the Entry Standard market segment . In 2009 she expanded her business areas with the establishment of two subsidiaries, Mercurius Handelsbank GmbH and Mercurius Real Estate AG.

With the resolution of the Annual General Meeting on August 25, 2010, the company's name was changed to Mercurius AG with an announcement on October 4, 2010. The secondary market life insurance business will continue to operate under the CFI Fairpay brand .

Mercurius AG is active in real estate management through Mercurius Real Estate AG, a subsidiary founded in 2009 that creates and operates one-room apartments in inner-city locations in cities such as Giessen and Frankfurt .

The company manages funds through Mercurius Handelsbank GmbH .
