CK Rajan

CK Rajan (* 1960 in Kerala ) is an Indian artist.

Life

CK Rajan was born in 1960 in Kerala, India. From 1987 to 1989 he studied art at the Maharaja Sayajirao University in Baroda, where he was a member of the Marxist artists' association "Radical Group" in the 1980s. Between 1992 and 1994 he obtained a Master of Arts in painting from the University of Hyderabad . Rajan was best known for exhibiting his work at documenta 12 .

Rajan lives in Hyderabad.

Rajan's work is politically motivated. In his work he takes up the socio-political contradictions of his country. He mainly works with collages.
