CPPV ( C ontinuous P ositiv P ressure V entilation) is a ventilation mode , in which at the end of exhalation, a residual pressure is maintained in the respiratory tract, the positive end expiratory pressure ( PEEP ). The respiratory center position shifts in favor of a larger functional residual capacity.
