cProjects is the short form for Collaboration Projects , a software for project management distributed by SAP AG . cProjects is part of the cProjects Suite, which also contains cFolders ( Collaboration Folders ), a tool for joint processing and exchange of documents.

With cProjects, SAP is following the trend of making all applications available over the Internet at any time . All you need to work with cProjects is a browser and a fast internet connection.

cProjects comprises the following functions (extract):

  • Project planning in phases and tasks
  • Termination
  • Resource planning at person level
  • Document management
  • Notifications and alarms in the event of exceptions

cProjects is technically based on SAP NetWeaver and is imported there as an add -on.

As of October 2009, SAP is delivering cProjects Suite 4.5.
