Cabballero is a dance floor and trance project by Jama Johnson (aka Cabballero ), Ronald Bähr (under the name R. Ribeiroa ) and Ricco Raggazzi .
Career
The voice for it came from rapper Jama Johnson , known as ' Ja'Ma , and studio singers Kristina Safrany and Sara Pola . In addition to 'Ja'Ma' , the dancers and performers Serena M. Pearl , Kristy B and Zlata K “Swat” performed live .
Cabballero was best known for cover versions of the group Ultravox , whose songs Hymn (1994) and Dancing with Tears in My Eyes (1995) landed international hits. A cover version by the German group Camouflage followed later . In their 1995 album Elements there are also so-called Euro-Hip-Hop-Tracks, similar to those with which Down Low , Nana and C-Block became famous.
