Cable Beach is a sandy beach in the south of the Australian state of Western Australia . It is located near Frenchman Bay on the Torndirrup Peninsula within the Torndirrup National Park .

The beach is 980 meters long and up to 70 meters wide. It opens towards the south. The beach consists of three parts, which are separated from each other by rock platforms 320 and 40 meters long.

Cable Beach is known as a rough and treacherous stretch of coast, so swimming is not recommended. Cable Beach is not guarded by lifeguards .
