Surf Life Saving Australia
Surf Life Saving Australia ( SLSA ) is the top water rescue organization in Australia . It consists of 303 local surf lifesaving clubs, 17 regional branches in Queensland and New South Wales and 7 independent national associations. With more than 110,000 members, of whom more than 34,000 are actively guarding over 400 beaches, the SLSA is one of the largest voluntary organizations in Australia.
She is also responsible for the organization and implementation of rescue sports in Australia and a member of the International Life Saving Federation .
