Caecilia Trebulla
Caecilia Trebulla was a poet of the Roman Empire .
On the Memnon Column in Egypt three poems have been handed down inscribed under her name. The poems are written in Greek, are in hexametric meter (partly interspersed with choliambes ) and are influenced by poems of the Hadrianic period (117-138). They deal with the tones that the column makes according to the poet's testimony.
