Calcalong Creek (meteorite)

The Calcalong Creek meteorite is a 19 g lunar meteorite that was found in Western Australia as early as 1960 , but was only identified as a lunar meteorite in 1991.

It is the first lunar meteorite to be found outside of Antarctica . Calcalong Creek is a regolith - breccia from the lunar highlands.
