Call Detail Record

A Call Detail Record or Call Data Record ( CDR ) contains the information required for a billing system in the telecommunications sector . In German usage, the term communication data set (KDS), connection data set , individual call record (EGN) or individual call record (EVN) is used. Mobile phone companies also create CDRs for SMS , MMS and WAP connections, i.e. for all connections that can be billed to a customer.

  • Starting point ( A-participant )
  • Target number ( B subscriber )
  • current time of connection start
  • Duration of the connection in seconds
