Canadian Labor Congress

The Canadian Labor Congress , French le Congrès du travail du Canada , is an umbrella organization of Canadian trade unions . It was founded in 1956 , is based in Ottawa and represents approximately 3 million members. The association is also active in general political issues such as human rights and anti-racism .
