Canoabo is a village in the Bejuma District , in the west of the state of Carabobo , Venezuela , with about 5297 inhabitants. Canoabo is the seat of government of the Parroquia Canoabo. It is the starting point for trips into nature.

history

Canoabo was founded on March 19, 1711 by the priest Andrés Páez Vargas. The poet Vicente Gerbasi was born here on June 2, 1913 .

economy

Canoabo has long been the center of many cocoa plantations. It is currently still an important agricultural point in the region. Coffee in particular is harvested in the region around Canoabo.
