Cappella Confluentes

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cappella Confluentes is a Koblenz baroque ensemble . It was launched in 2004 by tenor Christopher Fülling and conductor / harpsichordist Jörn Hinnerk Andresen with a concert in the Maria Laach Abbey Church.

In addition to the preoccupation with historical performance practice, especially of the early Baroque , the repertoire of the Polish court orchestra under Asprilio Pacelli is the focus of the work. In addition, the ensemble is active in opera , for example in 2005/2006 in the Koblenz theater from 1787 with the opera King Arthur by Henry Purcell .

Cappella Confluentes regularly organizes the “Koblenz Baroque Concerts”.
