The Carl-Spitteler-Quai (short. Spitteler-Quai) is the eastern continuation of the Nationalquai in the city of Lucerne . It is located on the right bank of Lake Lucerne between the Hotel Palace and the Hausermatte.

Plans to expand the quay existed as early as the First World War . For cost reasons, these were not carried out. While the city council voted against an extension of the existing quay in 1920, the construction of the as yet unnamed quay began in 1923. In 1931, the quay was given its current name in honor of the Swiss Nobel Prize winner Carl Spitteler .

At its eastern end is the Carlton Tivoli Tennis Club, followed by a children's playground and a park. The sculpture "Die Liegende" by Roland Duss was erected on the quay of the same name in 1940 in honor of Lucerne's honorary citizen Carl Spitteler.
