Carolina Gorun

Carolina Gorun (born in Moldova ) is a German pop singer .

Life

Born in Moldova , she was raised in Russian Orthodox by her parents and has been musically encouraged from an early age. Carolina Gorun sang in the school choir as well as in various church choirs. In 2010 she won first place at the Grand Prix International Music Competition “ Vivat Marin ” Ukraine and came second at the Grand Prix Festival of French Songs , Romania (Eurovision Song Contest).

In 2011 she took part in the Eurovision Song Contest for Moldova.

In 2012 she reached the semi-finals at Supertalent Germany.

In 2016 she changed management and signed her first record deal in Germany. Shortly afterwards, their first single, “Light of my Life”, produced by Mike Rötgens in Cologne and Dirk Fiebich in Löhne, was released and made it into the charts. The remix, produced by DJ Fosco (Jan Boris Schäfer), also landed a chart success.

The final step to Germany was made in 2017.

To do this, she works with producer Peter Jordan and songwriters like Mariana Wagner or Bendix Amonat as a vocal coach.
