Casa Defey

The Casa Defey is a building in the Uruguayan capital Montevideo .

The building, which was constructed between 1936 and 1939, is located in the Barrio Pocitos on Avenida Brasil 2359 between Avenida Ing. Luis P. Ponce and Calle Francisco Araúcho . The architect Eduardo Defey was responsible for the construction . Originally designed by Defey as a residential building and studio for his own use, it now houses a clinic.

Since 1995 the Casa Defey has been classified as a Bien de Interés Municipal .
