Casino de Monte Gordo
The Casino de Monte Gordo is a casino in the Portuguese coastal town of Monte Gordo . Today it belongs to the Grupo Solverde group of companies founded in 1972 along with four other Portuguese casinos .
The building was erected in 1934 on the Avenida Infante Dom Henrique promenade . Its construction replaced the simple Casino Peninsular, which was a few minutes' walk from the location of the current casino. Since then it has been rebuilt several times.
The 200-seat Ocean Room is used as a venue for show events.
