Casseurs Flowters
Casseurs Flowters is a French hip-hop duo from Caen consisting of rappers Orelsan and Gringe.
Band history
In 1999 the two rappers Aurélien Cotentin alias Orelsan and Guilaume Tranchant alias Gringe met in their hometown of Caen and the following year they founded the joint project Casseurs Flowters . In 2003 they released their first free mixtape, Saint Valentin, and a year later a second called Fantasy . There were no other publications, rather the connection was dormant, while Orelsan was successful from 2009 with solo releases. Gringe was a guest on two albums and with Ils sont cools they had Orelsan feat. Gringe a chart hit in 2012. They then revived Casseurs Flowters and recorded the album Orelsan et Gringe sont les Casseurs Flowters . It represents a kind of musical buddy movie and is designed in terms of content over a period of several hours, in which the individual songs are assigned times. It was released at the end of 2013 and was able to place itself in the charts in France and the French-speaking neighboring countries.
