Casteldimirto

Entry in Sicilia nobile from Villabianca

Casteldimirto was a fiefdom near the city of Monreale . It belonged to the Imperatore family and later to the Counts of Villalta from the Corsetto family and later Siracusa .

The duchy passed to the Stella family by inheritance and later to the Bonagia family. The Palace of the Dukes of Mirto in Palermo (now known as Palazzo Bonagia ) was badly damaged during World War II .
