Cedric Sundstrom

Cedric Sundstrom (* before 1975 in Johannesburg , South Africa ) is a South African film director and screenwriter with Swedish roots.

Life

Sundstrom began his career as an assistant director in the mid-1970s. In the late 1980s, he was also the director of the Second Unit . In 1976 he shot Suffer Little Children ... his first own production. It is a short film for which he also wrote the script. In 1983, Sundstrom directed his first feature film, Song and Dance Man . Several productions followed, including the 1988 action film Fire on Fire with Oliver Reed in the lead role.

With American Fighter 3 - The Bloody Hunt (1989) and American Fighter 4 - The Destruction (1990) Sundstrom made his most famous films. During this time, The Avenger, another low-budget action film, was made. Frank Zagarino and again Oliver Reed played the leading roles .

In 1994, with Dark Desires: Eva, Sundstrom took a one-off foray into the sex film genre. Until 2003 he directed two television films and three documentaries.
