American Fighter 4 - The Annihilation is the fourth installment in the American Fighter film series. In this film, Michael Dudikoff , leading actor in the first two parts, returns to his role. Cedric Sundstrom , who had already directed the third film, took over the direction .

Joe Armstrong has joined the Peace Corps and now works as a teacher. He wants to forget his past as a ninja. However, when an elite unit of the US Army is kidnapped by enemy ninjas, high-ranking CIA agent Gavin asks him for his help in freeing the troops. Armstrong refuses, a rescue attempt by the CIA then fails, so that Sean is now also trapped. When Joe finds out about this, he changes his mind and sets off for Africa to save his old friend.
