Central Electronic Complex
With Central Electronic Complex ( CEC ) all of the hardware is called, from a mainframe (mainframe, host) is. This includes the CPUs , main memory, channels, controllers and power supply. Some CECs, such as IBM's Multiprise 2000 and 3000, also contain persistent data stores (hard drives).
