Central de Trabajadores de la Argentina

Central de Trabajadores de la Argentina (CTA) is an Argentine trade union confederation. In contrast to the Peronist trade union federation CGT, he is critical of the Argentine government.

At the end of April 2016, u. a. the CTA raised up to 350,000 people to a protest march in Buenos Aires for immediate action against high unemployment and a limit on inflation. Around 68,000 jobs have been lost since Mauricio Macri took over government, according to estimates by the CTA. Inflation in Argentina is estimated at over 30 percent annually.

CTA is a member of the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC). In the membership list of the IGB, the membership of CTA is given as 300,000 (as of November 2017).
