The Center hospitalier universitaire de Grenoble is a university hospital in Grenoble . It was inaugurated in 1974. In 2013 it had 2,235 beds. It has a department for mountain accidents (Alpes Trauma Center). In December 2013 Michael Schumacher was admitted to the clinic with a severe head injury .
