The Centro de Arte Moderna José de Azeredo Perdigão ( CAMJAP ; German for short Center for Modern Art ; also just Centro de Arte Moderna ) is the museum for modern art of the Portuguese Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon .

It was designed by Leslie Martin and opened in 1983. The CAM is the modern art extension of the Museu Calouste Gulbenkian classical museum .

The museum focuses on art from the 20th and 21st centuries. One focus is British art, which from 1959 to 1964 was the main focus of the Foundation's collection expansions.

It has around 9,000 works of art by Portuguese and international artists.

In addition to the exhibition rooms, the CAM u. a. a restaurant and cafeteria, an open-air theater and a bookstore.
