The Center for Computer Science and Information Technology (tubs.CITY) is a research association of institutes for computer science and information systems of the TU Braunschweig , which was founded in 2008 by 28 faculty members of computer science , electrical engineering , information technology and economics .

The facility was founded by resolution of the Executive Board of the TU Braunschweig and at the request of the Carl Friedrich Gauß Faculty and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Information Technology and Physics with the announcement of its regulations on January 30, 2008.

goals and tasks

The aim of the institute is to coordinate and expand the successful research activities in information technology and computer science in Braunschweig and in the region, as well as to create an organizational basis for further strengthening the focus on information and communication technology. This also includes international links with top researchers.

The implementation of these goals is achieved through:
