Word figurative mark Ceracron by Friesland Porzellan

Ceracron is a registered trademark for a special stoneware . The composition was originally developed around 1970 for the colored tableware by Melitta and, in addition to its hardness and resistance, is characterized by the fact that the material has a higher density than 'normal' earthenware. It is made with different glazes . The first series of tableware were produced before patents or trademarks had been applied for.

The final firing for baking the glaze takes place at 1080 ° C. The range of glazes used ranges from high-gloss to roughened surfaces. The chemical composition of the raw materials, the mixing ratio and the manufacturing process are trade secrets.

The Ceracron word mark has been internationally protected since 1984. The company Friesland Porzellan is currently the owner of the rights to the word mark .

The designer Luigi Colani designed the Zen tea service with a black high-gloss glaze, with the teapot mounted on rubber sleeves and usable on two sides.
