Cerfennia

Cerfennia was an ancient place ( statio , i.e. a station on a Roman road ) in the Martians area of Italy. Today the church of S. Felicità in Cerfenna near Collarmele stands in the area .

Cerfennia was north of Marruvian and Lake Fucin . In terms of traffic, it was connected to the Via Valeria . The place was the starting point of the Via Claudia Valeria built under Emperor Claudius .
