Cerros de San Juan , also Los Cerros de San Juan , is a town in Uruguay .

geography

It is located on the territory of the Department of Colonia in its southwestern part in sector 7 . The place lies south of a collection of topographical elevations called Cerro de San Juan . The Río San Juan runs south of the village . The area west of the village is called Cuchilla San Juan , while the Cuchilla del Miguelete extends to the east. The closest settlements in the area are Antolín in the east-northeast and Puerto Inglés in the west-northwest.

Residents

The place had 60 inhabitants in the 2011 census, 35 of them male and 25 female. The Instituto Nacional de Estadística de Uruguay did not collect any data for the previous censuses in 1963, 1975, 1985 and 1996 .
