Cervecería Boliviana Nacional SA (CBN) is a Bolivian company founded in 1877 by Alexander ( Alejandro ) Wolf under the name Wolf & Cía. Founded. It is the dominant brewery group in Bolivia . In addition to the nationally distributed and internationally exported core brand Paceña, it also includes the local brands Huari, Imperial and Taquiña. The group also sells international brands such as Ducal, Imperial, Beck's and Baltica Dry, as well as malt beer and soft drinks from the PepsiCo range .

Around the turn of the millennium from 1999, the owners of the Argentine Cerveza Quilmes pushed ahead a consolidation process in the Bolivian beer market. After the takeover of the majority of CBN, further breweries were quickly integrated, so that a dominant position was achieved. In 2002, the Brazilian AmBev joined the Quilmes Group, making CBN part of the Anheuser-Busch InBev empire .

In 2011, CBN became the first company in Bolivia to be fined for monopoly practices.
