Chalice
The chalice , also known as the wisdom chalice or chillum chalice , is a pipe mostly used by members of the Rastafarian movement to smoke marijuana .
It is a form of the water pipe , usually consisting of a round vessel (sometimes a hollow coconut ) with a kind of pipe bowl and a long flexible tube for inhalation . The water cools and filters the smoke, the hose provides additional air space for cooling.
Smoking marijuana with a chalice has a spiritual meaning to Rastafari; Marijuana is a sacred plant for them.
