Charcot Ridge

Gunnerus Ridge is a deep sea ridge in the Somov Sea well off the Oates coast of East Antarctica Victoria Land .
It has been named since 1995 after the French polar explorer Jean-Baptiste Charcot (1867–1936), head of two Antarctic expeditions.
