Cheerleaders Association Germany

The Cheerleaders Association Germany (CvD) is organized in the American Football Association Germany (AFVD). It has a board elected by the Bundescheerleadertag .

The task of the CvD is to provide technical support for the sport of cheerleading at the federal level. It creates the nationally valid set of rules, supervises the German championships and runs level B coaching courses. 2,008 additional tasks such as fighting were doping , the promotion of competitive sports , youth competitive sports, school sports and youth development transferred to the managing editor.

history

The CvD emerged from the Bundescheerleader Committee in 2002 and was constituted on April 5, 2003 under the umbrella of the AFVD. Up until then there was only one chairperson and her deputy. With the CvD, the tasks that were assigned to it grew steadily. The so-called speaker group now reflected the responsibility for the rules, German Cheerleading Championships, training, jurors and youth.

At the 2008 Bundescheerleadertag, the group of speakers was redefined as the board of directors. The CvD board now consists of the chairman and four deputies.
