The Chemicals Ordinance ( ChemV ) is an ordinance from Swiss chemicals law , which is based on the Chemicals Act (ChemG). The first version is from 2005.

This regulates at ordinance level how the dangers and risks of substances and preparations are to be determined and assessed. Furthermore, the requirements for the placing on the market, handling and processing of data by the enforcement authorities are defined.

SVHC in the European candidate list, which can be made subject to an authorization requirement, are listed in Annex 7 of the ChemV.

The ChemV also applies in Liechtenstein .
