criticism

Chen Chih Yuan is considered one of the most important Asian children's book illustrators worldwide. For the FAZ, his book “Gui-Gui” is “an expressive plea for affection and love in the host society: even against the background of current debates, Chen's multicultural duck society and blended family are able to convey a completely out of fashion didactic message.” Die Welt am Sonntag sees “Gui-Gui” as a “successful variation on a classic theme that captivates with beautiful images”.
