Chen Hongyong

Chen Hongyong ( Chinese  陳紅勇 , born May 1, 1966 ) is a former Chinese badminton player .

Career

Chen Hongyong took part in the 1992 Olympic Games in men's doubles with Chen Kang . There they lost to the eventual winners Kim Moon-soo and Park Joo-bong in the round of 16. The pairing was more successful at world championships. In 1989 they won silver, in 1993 bronze. In 1994 they became Asian champions.
